Don't worry! None of my clients are professional models, and everyone comes in with the same concerns. I will work with you on posing and directing you into poses to make you most comfortable during the session. 

Maternity sessions take about 1-1.5 hours in total. This includes the time to choose wardrobe, and change outfits.

Newborn sessions are typically 2-3 hours long depending how your baby feels that da. I recommend not scheduling any other appointments that day just in case! 

 I offer a unique and curated collection of wardrobe for my clients, although some clients choose to wear their own items. Wardrobe is key to a photo session, the outfits and colors you choose should match your style and personality. We'll work closely together to choose the best outfits for you and your family.  You'll also receive my complete wardrobe guide to help you get an idea of what you would like to wear the day of your session as well as how to prepare spouses or children participating in the session. 

Absolutely! For maternity pictures, we will start with the family and children photos first then do some of just Mom to show off that beautiful bump! In newborn sessions, we also do family and sibling photos first to keep everyone comfortable and happy.  As always the family pet is more than welcome to join also :)

While I can get beautiful images of your baby at any age, newborns will only be this small for such a short amount of time! Newborns under 2 weeks tend to stay asleep while posing them and moving from one set to another. They are also still in that womb like pose. 

During our initial consultation, we can discuss the props I have available and what you'd be interested in using during our shoot. For example, I have various backdrops, blankets, baskets and other items. Choosing colors you like is also important. 

Of course. I will not take any photographs that you do not feel comfortable with. That goes for all sessions. Also, if you aren't comfortable with me sharing images on social media or my blog, I certainly would not do so. 

The edited final images will be ready within 3 weeks of the session. At that time, we will meet and you'll get to see your fully edited images at your ordering appointment. I'll walk you through choosing which images you'd like to print in albums, for wall art, or as gifts.

Yes! After purchasing your digital images, you’ll have the option to purchase prints through my trusted professional photo lab. I highly recommend this as the colors are consistent, and quality is flawless. You can see and compare examples of the print quality in the studio. If you’d like to print on your own, I can offer suggestions to some of the better consumer labs.

You can schedule your milestone session dates as far in advance as you like. Don't worry -- I know you'll be busy, so I'll send you a reminder so you don't forget your 3, 6, 9 and 12 month sessions!
